BOMB by Les Edgerton

BOMB by Les Edgerton

Take one foolproof plan, sweated and toiled over, examined, researched, rehearsed and plotted down to the finest detail. Add to the mix one soon-to-be-disposed-of nitwit partner with a shoe obsession plus an exploding dog, and things are going just fine for Charles ‘Reader’ Kincaid.

After all, he’s considered all the angles and believes he has it sussed. The only complications he has not bargained for are the devious motivations of others; a banker as bent as a nine-dollar note, an untrusting mistress, a vengeful wife and a drug czar who does not take kindly to being ripped off. But most importantly he has not reckoned on being hunted by a one-eyed ex-cop who possesses all the tenacity of a wolf pack. Here, Les Edgerton weaves an American tale riddled with dark humour and more tight twists and turns than a Typhoon Rollercoaster. Great stuff.

You are more than welcome, my dear. I thought it was a hoot. I recall your advice about not shooting the dog, so you blew the bugger up instead. A neat trick, I thought. Best. Lesley xx
